    Product Description

    These gears offer a 10% underdrive in high range, equivalent to converting axle gears from the 4.10 to 4.56 gears without having to do ring & pinion work. Popular for those with heavy vehicles and/or oversized tires to increase power.

    We recommend ordering a new TCB50003 t-case input shaft bearing, and TOOLFIPGRS form in place gasket maker to complete installation. If your t-case is in need of a full bearing and seal overhaul please order TC9092 or TC9297 transfer case rebuild kit. 

     

    Fits 1/1990-1/1998 80 Series/LX450. Fits only factory full-time 4WD (HF2A & HF2AV) transfer cases found in US Spec and global market Land Cruisers.

      Did a refresh on my fj80 tcase using all cruiserteq parts. It's as good and new, quiet, smooth shifting with CDL and low gears are amazing.

      I am giving these gears a 5 star rating and would say this is a 2.5 banana job. I bought a press from Harbor freight and got this job done in my driveway. I bought two sets of these transfer case gears. One for my brother who has a 1992 HDJ and I have a 1997 FZJ. We disassembled the TC's while under the rigs and used my newly acquired press to remove the old gears and install these new ones. Pro tip, make sure you remove all of the wiring harnesses and the CDL actuator from the top of the TC prior to removing the gears. After that get that detent ball and spring out of there. That makes reinstallation a LOT easier. This resulted in much peppier rigs. My brother is running 35x10.5R17 Kendas and I am on 33's ( I installed these gears in anticipation of running 35's). We both dig these gears a lot. We can't hear any gear whine at all in his diesel but I can hear a quiet, high pitched whine in mine at or around 70 MPH. I am now running approximately 2400 RPM at 70 MPH. Highly recommend these gears. The second set we installed took approximately 3 hours total to get done start to finish. I am a slow wrench.       These gears are as advertised. They fit perfect and I notice no noise or gear whine.
