Heavy-Duty Nitro Chromoly Birfield Joint - Features 24 splines inside the birf joint for use with stock 24 spline (at birf) inner axle shafts
Includes:
- 1 x Heavy-Duty Nitro Greaseable 4340 Chromoly Birfield Joint
- 1 x Snap Ring
These birfields have double snap ring grooves to accommodate both early and late model drive flanges or manual locking hubs. These birfields are designed to work with factory inner axle shafts.

Holds up well, love the finish
I've been driving around on one of these for a couple years mostly on weekend offroad trips. They have performed well in a fully loaded 80-series on 35" tires occasionally pulling a loaded trailer offroad. Not many road miles, but plenty of offroad, stuck in a peat bog, miles in Alaska. I really like the gun-drilled, zerk for grease, it makes prepping and maintenance a lot easier. Also, the finish is great and seems to protect against corrosion especially if the vehicle isn't a daily driver.
