Don’t skimp if you don’t have to…
Our thermostat failed and needed to be replaced. I went to the local auto parts store, thinking it’d be more convenient as they could get the part to us in a day. We paid nearly the same price for a generic thermostat that didn’t match the measurement of the Toyota unit and behaved as if the thermostat was stuck open. We replaced that with this unit, and are much happier with the quality and function of this thermostat. If you’ve got the circumstances…I wouldn’t waste time with off brand offerings.
